Job Summary
The Key Account Manager (Bakery & Pastry Division) will focus on serving artisan and commercial bakeries, hotel pastry kitchens, and dessert shops. The role requires both commercial acumen and product knowledge in bakery and pastry ingredients, with a focus on providing clients with innovative and consistent solutions that meet their production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with bakeries, pastry shops, and hotel kitchens.
- Understand client production processes and challenges, and recommend the right flours, mixes, improvers, chocolate, and specialty products.
- Introduce new products and support innovation through tastings, trials, and technical workshops.
- Ensure reliable supply and smooth day-to-day operations for all bakery accounts.
- Manage accounts through structured follow-ups, reporting, and achievement of sales targets.
- Expand relationships by suggesting new product lines or solutions that improve efficiency and consistency.
- Track seasonal patterns in bakery demand and prepare tailored offers and stock plans.
- Act as the key link between bakery clients and Emkay’s internal teams, ensuring all needs are addressed promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Technology, or equivalent in related field.
- 3–5 years of sales or account management experience in bakery, pastry, or food ingredients.
- Familiarity with bakery/pastry operations and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic; experience with ERP/CRM systems (Odoo preferred).
